Photography & Media Consent Policy

Embodied in Art by Jess photographs or records workshops, creative activities, artwork and events for promotional, educational and community-building purposes.
This policy explains how images, recordings and creative work may be used.
Participant Consent
Photographs, video recordings or audio recordings of workshop participants will only be taken with appropriate notice and consent.
Participation in photography or recording is always voluntary.
Participants may opt out at any time before or during an event.
How Images May Be Used
With consent, photographs and recordings may be used for:
- Social media content
- Website content
- Marketing materials
- Newsletters
- Promotional materials
- Funding and reporting purposes where relevant
Images will always be used respectfully and in a manner consistent with the values of Embodied in Art by Jess.
Children's Images
Photographs or recordings of children will only be used with the consent of a parent, guardian or responsible organisation where required.
Artwork Created During Workshops
Participants retain ownership of the artwork they create during workshops.
Where participants choose to share images of their work with Embodied in Art by Jess, they grant permission for those images to be used for promotional purposes unless they specifically request otherwise.
Artwork will be credited where appropriate.
Social Media Sharing
Embodied in Art by Jess may share photographs of workshops, creative processes or participant artwork on social media channels.
Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings should inform Jessica Stevens before or during the event.
Every reasonable effort will be made to respect these preferences.
Commissioned Artwork
Embodied in Art by Jess reserves the right to photograph and share commissioned artwork for portfolio, website and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client.
Personal information relating to commissions will never be shared without permission.
Withdrawal of Consent
Where consent has been given, individuals may request the removal of photographs or media from future use by contacting:

While reasonable efforts will be made to remove content from future publications, it may not be possible to remove materials already printed, published or distributed.
