Returns, Refunds & Workshop Cancellation

At Embodied in Art by Jess, I want you to be delighted with your purchase. This policy explains your rights regarding returns, refunds, exchanges, workshop bookings and commissioned artwork.

Original Artwork

Original paintings and drawings may be returned within 30 days of receipt.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The artwork must be returned in its original condition.
  • The artwork must be returned in its original packaging where possible.
  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the artwork is faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.

Once the artwork has been received and inspected, any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Art Prints

All art prints are produced to order. As each print is made specifically for your order, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect size selection
  • Personal preference

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described.

If your print arrives damaged or defective, please contact embodiedinart.byjess@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of the damage.

Journals and Colouring Books

Journals and colouring books are printed and fulfilled by Amazon.

Returns, refunds and exchanges are subject to Amazon's returns policy and procedures.

If you experience an issue with a journal or colouring book order, please contact Amazon directly in the first instance.

Commissioned Artwork

Commissioned artwork is created specifically for individual clients. Once work has commenced, commissions are generally non-refundable.

If a commission is cancelled before work has started, a refund may be issued at the discretion of Embodied in Art by Jess.

Any deposits paid for commissioned work are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Copyright remains with Embodied in Art by Jess unless otherwise agreed.

Workshops and Events

Cancellation by Participant

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the workshop start time, you may choose either:

  • A transfer to an alternative workshop date (subject to availability), or
  • A refund.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before the workshop start time, refunds cannot normally be provided. However, where possible, I will endeavour to offer a transfer to a future workshop.

Non-Attendance

No refunds will be provided for non-attendance without prior notice.

Cancellation by Embodied in Art by Jess

Occasionally workshops may need to be postponed or cancelled due to illness, insufficient bookings, venue issues or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

In these circumstances participants will be offered:

  • A transfer to a future workshop, or
  • A full refund.

Embodied in Art by Jess is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred in connection with workshop attendance.

Subscription Memberships

Subscription memberships renew automatically on a monthly basis.

Subscribers may cancel at any time through their customer account or by contacting embodiedinart.byjess@gmail.com.

Cancellation will prevent future renewals.

Payments already processed for the current subscription period are non-refundable unless required by law.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Faulty
  • Defective
  • Incorrect

Please contact embodiedinart.byjess@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order and include photographs where possible.

I will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange:

  • A replacement
  • A repair
  • A refund
  • in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
