Embody Your Story

Embody Your Story is a collaborative creative process that invites you to explore your lived experiences and transform them into a piece of art.

Rather than focusing only on appearance, this process centres can focus on your story, your relationship with your body, and the experiences that have shaped you.

Through guided reflection and creative exploration, you will develop a mood board that visually represents your story. This becomes the starting point for a unique piece of art created in collaboration with Jess.

What are the pathways?

You can begin your journey in one of two ways:

Pathway One: Celebrate Me
For those who already have a clear sense of the story they want to express and are ready to begin the creative process.

Pathway Two: Empower Me
For those who would like a more guided process to explore their story in depth before creating their mood board.

Once your mood board is complete, the next phase of the artwork process begins. This is the same for both pathways.

What Your Recieve

Depending on the pathway you choose, you will receive a beautifully prepared creative pack in the post.

Pathway One: Celebrate Me

  • A printed Mood Board Booklet, with creative prompts to help shape your story visually

Why turn your story into art?

Many of the stories we carry live quietly within us.

Turning your story into art can be a powerful way to honour your experiences, process emotions and reconnect with your body and identity.

For some people, this process becomes a way of marking a life transition, acknowledging grief, celebration, or recognising personal growth.

Through this collaborative process, your story becomes something that can be seen, held and remembered in a new way.

Every piece created through Embody Your Story is unique and true to you.

Who is this for?

This process may be meaningful if you:

  • are navigating grief, health challenges, or life transitions
  • want to explore your relationship with your body
  • want to honour a meaningful life experience
  • feel drawn to expressing your story through art

Limited Availability

To ensure each story receives the care and attention it deserves, only a limited number of commissions are taken on each year.

Beginning the process with the Mood Board or Design Book allows us to explore whether this journey feels right for you.

Important Note

The Design Book and Mood Board process is a reflective creative activity, not therapy. While Jess is a qualified creative arts therapist, this offering is not intended as a therapeutic service.
